Hi Fortune Flavours Family. Today I want to try and tell you what the benefits of smoking & vaping CBD are.
History of CBD
To start, let’s go back to the earliest documented use of cannabis for non-recreational purposes, Ancient China, circa 2700 BC. Before the pyramids were built, before cannabis became a taboo, cannabis was seen as a medicine. In this blog post, I want to encourage you to see through the modern cloud that surrounds the word “cannabis” in order to realize how cannabis can be, always has been, and always will be, a medicine. Then, you might realize that the future of cannabis is to become more than just a medicine because smoking or vaping CBD and hemp oil has its benefits and can become a tool for personal growth.
Modern use of CBD
The cloud that has surrounded the cannabis plant in modern times has prevented satisfactory research on what cannabis is, what it is useful for, and what parts of it are useful.
What we do know is that there are two core molecules in the structure of a cannabis plant: Delta-9-Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) and Cannabidiol (CBD). Exactly what these molecules do remains unclear, but roughly speaking THC is the molecule in cannabis that causes a “high”, whilst CBD is a molecule that has non-psychoactive effects.
That is why CBD dominant plants (and their essential oils) have little to no psychoactive effect, and yet using CBD can harness the same medicinal benefits that people have been harnessing from the cannabis plant since 2700 BC.
It is clear to me that by eliminating the psychoactive effect of the plant, the use of CBD becomes an attractive medicine for an array of both physical and mental issues.
Benefits of smoking and vaping CBD
You may be wondering if CBD Flowers and Oils are good for you. Unlike other medicines, smoking or consuming CBD or CBD OIL is not addictive, nor does it have adverse side effects, in fact, CBD has health benefits. And unlike other medicines, CBD does not target one thing, but rather has a positive effect on an array of systems, known as endocannabinoid systems.
These endocannabinoid systems are systems of naturally occurring molecules in our body that regulate our mood, sleep, and appetite patterns (amongst others). Since CBD can regulate these endocannabinoids, CBD can help regulate all of those patterns.
So, the real power of using CBD as a medicine lies in the fact that CBD use can heal and improve multiple areas of your health at once

Is CBD a medicine?
I suggest that CBD is not just medicine that a patient can use to recover from an ailment, but rather a tool that anyone of you can use to grow as an individual. However, CBD is not magic. CBD is just a molecule. The way to make CBD use an effective tool for personal growth is to integrate CBD use into a lifestyle that promotes personal growth. If someone used CBD without having a lifestyle that promotes personal growth, it will not enhance their personal growth.
On the other hand, if someone had a lifestyle that promoted personal growth, and they integrated using CBD into that lifestyle, then their personal growth would be enhanced. You see, through the long history of medicinal effects, the use of CBD flower by the method of smoking or vaping can become a beneficial ritual that reminds you that you are living life with the aim to grow. CBD and hemp in the forms of OIL and Flowers become more than just a medicine the benefits CBD has provided have enabled it to be used for personal growth.
If you want to grow as an individual, then you have a reason to use CBD.
